BIO

Kamila Dydyna is an actor, writer, and filmmaker based in Dublin. She trained at The Gaiety School of Acting, The National Theatre School of Ireland. Her recent performances include Klara in "The Haunted Road", a BBC Radio 4 play, Nel in "The Betrayal" (a short film) and "16 & Rising," a political theatre project by Sian Ni Mhuiri at the Electric Picnic. As a filmmaker, her debut short film “Testimony” was picked up by RTE 2, Aer Lingus, and U.S. Shorts HD Network, following a successful global festival run, including a selection for Belfast Film Festival. Her new short, “The Betrayal,” featuring music by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, premiered at the 24th GAZE International LGBT Film Festival in Dublin.
